Founded in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, Kunglig Hund was born from our connection to Swedish heritage and our love for the beauty, simplicity, and balance found across Scandinavia and the Nordics. Through our travels, we became inspired by the region’s deep appreciation for nature, its unique and fleeting scents, and its thoughtful approach to design. Above all, we were inspired by the way dogs are cherished as true members of the family.

We noticed something was missing in the world of dog fragrance. We wanted to create a scent that was not only safe for dogs, but also beautifully crafted and meaningful. Many dog perfumes are inspired by human fragrances, without considering the individuality of dogs or the special bond we share with them. We wanted to create something different, a fragrance experience made specifically for dogs with the same care and artistry found in fine perfumery.
